Q.
This is a course to teach you the basic grammar of Laiqbun. It’s inspired by Toaq’s official course, which is fitting for a Toaqido. Most lessons consist of example sentences, explanations of the concepts introduced by the sentences, and then some exercises. It should be possible to use the examples and explanations to figure out the meanings of words and the exercises. The exercises come in two forms: Translate, where you’re given a laiqbun sentence and you have to figure out what it says, and Fill in the blanks, where you have to figure out what words are missing. The course doesn’t grade you, you’re the one who can tell whether you understood the sentences accurately according to the correct answers. You can join the Discord server or the Matrix space to ask questions!
This course will start by laying out the simplest, most basic parts of the language before getting to the interesting features. It’s only computer-friendly, requiring a visual browser, as it requires to be able to hover the mouse on sections of the website. Some smartphones seem to handle this well, but it’s not something to rely on.
This is a remake of a course which wasn’t particularly great. Consider this The Laiqbun Course: Ultra Deluxe, with exciting new content delighting audiences the world over.
