  1. ryq turns a predicate into a new ona that means “the action of doing that predicate.” For example, since zheo is “x1 exists,” ryq zheo is “to be the action of existing.”
  2. leq is the weirdest word this language has. Let’s break this sentence by parts: cheie maeo [X] gy is a sentence that means “the cat hunts [X].” The leq turns that X (which, in the sentence, is a kka) into the x1 of a predicate that means something like “The cat hunts x1.” The kaao goes in the x1, forming the full sentence. If multiple kka are used, the predicate will have multiple arguments.
  3. The Laiqbun digits are, from zero to eleven: meo, heq, ttea, rea, cheuo, beua, ceom, xeo, gem, dea, ppem, lea. There are twelve digits because the zhan have one thumb on each side of their hands, making for twelve fingers. I also just like base twelve. I’ll represent the digits for eleven and twelve as X and Y.
  4. Since there are twelve digits, the number written as “10” is actually twelve. “11” would be thirteen. They also write them backwards, so the number after Y is 01, then 11, then 21, and so on until 02. Decimals also go first. meohuq is composed of the words meo and heq.
