nothing beautiful can last

Another story I wrote for a weekly writing thing (yes, I know how long it's been since the last one. Let's say it's been a long week). The prompt was A Single Blade Of Grass. It's inspired by Outer Wilds and the doomsday clock (yknow? the one that measures how much we're fucking ourselves up by saying we have some amount of time until midnight? yea that one).

I honestly have no idea what this is or where it came from. It's been on my local ampersandia templ8.py project for a while. It seems to be a short story, but I don't remember writing it. It's even weirder because I don't particularly enjoy writing horror, so I genuinely don't know where this could have come from or what is my inspiration. It vaguely makes me think of those analog horror videos, so perhaps it was from a time when I was very into that?

It's called awae because that what the folder where I found it was called, and I know that I'm the author because it's in the roxy folder of the templ8 project. I don't think I should be scared, but it's pretty weird.

A short story I wrote for a weekly writing group. The prompt was A Strange Illness.

Eight, by Roxy & [CC BY-SA 4.0]

Eight is anxious about being a zhan leader and requires emotional support.

The twelve leaders zhan indirectly take care of millions of humans at a time. What if one of them had to directly take care of one?

A message was obtained from the mysterious hexagon on Saturn's north pole. This story focuses on what it looks like when one of the twelve zhan leaders processes heavy amounts of information.
